So what’s so great about this apprenticeship? Well, your wage will be higher than the national apprenticeship minimum wage, so start planning what to spend that extra cash on! You’ll be employed for a 12 month period to get stacks of experience and launch your career! You’ll start at NVQ level 2 (equivalent to a GCSE) with a possible progression to level 3 (equivalent to A-levels) and many apprentices secure a permanent role with us! Who knows where future you will end up!

About the role You’ll be working with Louise Casey in the Havant office where you will support a team of Housing Managers. Louise and her team like to make sure that they have fun and often pop out for a quick game of ping pong! They need a new team member to take part!
Your role will support our customers in their own homes with their rent accounts, moving in and out of their homes, dealing with customer queries and ensuring that their neighbourhood is safe and secure.
No two days are the same in the Havant office; one day you will be dealing with a customer query regarding communal cleaning and the next day you will be supporting a customer who is struggling to pay their rent. You need to be adaptable and meet changing demands. We are a friendly and supportive team and we will help you settle in and get to know the team. Alongside doing your NVQ, you’ll work with a number of different colleagues to learn all aspects of the job role. The team are very experienced and are keen to teach you everything they know about offering high quality housing management to ensure the best for our customers who are very diverse and keep us on our toes.
You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Who we’re looking for You can apply for this apprenticeship if you are a current or former Home Group customer.
Ideally you will have good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and basic Microsoft Office Skills but before long you’ll be a real whizz! You be great at working with people as part of a team, but must be able to work independently and use your initiative. You’ll be keen to learn from others how to prioritise and manage your work load, but an eye for detail is important.
