The role

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a hands-on lead for change who is willing and capable of doing everything possible to enable a team of Scrum Masters to perform at their highest level, while also protecting them from impediments and noise.

We want someone who is an excellent leader and agile coach but isn’t afraid to get stuck into the traditional project management responsibilities to deliver outstanding agile projects.

Who you’ll be working with:

Reporting in to the Head of Digital Delivery, you will lead, develop and coach a team of Scrum Masters to successfully build an effective and class leading team of Agile practitioners. You will work alongside the Lead Product Owner, Lead QA, Lead Systems Engineer and Lead Engineer.

What you’ll be doing:

    Be an Agile Coach and subject matter expert in Digital, able to answer questions and challenges related to the Agile approach
    Coach and nurture the team by embedding a Scrum approach whilst adopting and operating Scrum efficiently to support the Digital strategy
    Build a culture of trust and no-blame within the team
    Facilitate the team across all the ceremonies to help promote complete and relevant team participation
    Lead and guide the team to setup and resolve operational processes that satisfy the Agile principles
    Lead communication to negotiate, persuade and challenge the business when required and where necessary to support the Agile approach
    Train the team in DLG project governance ensuring all appropriate approvals, project governance, communications and go-to-market plans are in place for all delivery activities.
