ActionAid are recruiting for an Individual Giving Manager on a 9 month fixed term contract basis.
ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. Our dedicated local staff are changing the world with women and girls. We are ending violence and fighting poverty so that all women, everywhere, can create the future they want.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of core key acquisition fundraising channels; particularly around digital, F2F and DRTV but will also have the knowledge, skills and flexibility to work across the whole of the individual giving team when needed.
Today’s fundraising challenges motivate you and drive you to deliver innovative, collaborative and creative fundraising plans and strategies.
As a confident and experienced fundraiser, you will be skilled in developing robust high value budgets, multi-year forecasts, KPIs and monitoring processes, as well as proven experience with planning, reporting and ongoing re-forecasting.
You will have a natural flair for being a data explorer, excited by optimising data and reporting processes and are always looking for improvement which optimises the growth and delivery of individual giving programmes.
Your excellent organisational and project management skills will be vital in helping us streamline forward planning, approaches and processes in the department.
We are therefore looking for applicants with proven experience of working with and influencing colleagues at all levels, across multiple departments to develop integrated strategies, processes, plans and multi-channel public campaigns.
This is a fast paced, varied and challenging role, within a fantastic team of fundraising professionals; it is a great opportunity for anyone looking to utilise their impressive skill set during an important time for ActionAid UK.
We are looking for applications from those with direct marketing or fundraising experience gained within a not-for-profit organisation, along with experience of developing strong fundraising propositions and journeys.
Applicants must have outstanding project management skills, with an ability to prioritise their workload confidently and to deliver within tight timeframes where necessary.
Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential, as are excellent numeracy and literacy skills. It is also essential that applicants have excellent IT skills, including the use of MS Office packages and databases relevant to the role.
If you have this skillset along with a passion to work for an organisation committed to improving the lives of women and girls living in poverty for good, then please apply.
Please note that this role is being offered as a 9 month Fixed Term Contract.
